My Skincare Journey with Plasma Skin Tightening Treatment
Updated: Jul 5
Hellooooo Glow-getters! So I thought a great way for us to get to know one another is for me to share my skincare journey. I have been through it all, from the struggles to the wake-up call, a chance to refresh and restart, through some trial and error to where I finally am today. This is my skincare journey with plasma skin tightening treatment - it has been a slow but steady journey and I have learned so much.
So when I went back to the most basic skincare routine that both of my dermatologists had recommended which consisted of cleansing, moisturizing, and SPF. These were the three products that I restarted my skincare routine with;
1. cleansing: CeraVe’s Hydrating Face Wash
2. moisturizing: CeraVe’s Moisturizing Cream for Normal to Dry Skin
4. extra: CeraVe Healing Ointment; for any dry patches, just don’t pick at or touch your face, and apply this to the rough area and it soothes and smooths the skin.
The SPF is tinted since I didn’t want to mix additional foundation/concealer makeup with the skincare routine, and the EltaMD’s SPF worked wonders. I maintained this regimen with the same products for about 6 months and eventually switched out the ones for some of my own personal favorite products, but of course one product at a time. That way you know which product causes irritation and you can stop using it right away.
I never thought that I would be able to achieve my glow to where I’m at today, and I wanted you to know that you can too. The key is a consistent routine, whether it’s 3 steps or 20 steps, you have to give your skin some time to get used to the ingredients.
That’s why it’s so important to listen to your skin, because your skin will tell you if it loves it or hates it.
